[Event Report] Yamanote Line Loop Run by MARUNOUCHI Bike&Run Part.2

Amidst the clear, crisp air and gentle sunlight of December, a 40km run around the Yamanote Line!
CIGARRO was once again proud to support this wonderful event.

This is the second installment of CIGARRO's event collaboration series, which supports active adults who enjoy both work and play to the fullest.
Once again, at an event hosted by "MARUNOUCHI Bike&Run," which supports runners who enjoy running around the Imperial Palace and cycling commuters based in Marunouchi, Tokyo,
runners were able to experience the charm of CIGARRO.

As its name suggests, the "Yamanote Line Loop Run" is an event where participants run 40km around the Yamanote Line, with support staff and breaks along the way.
It's an ideal event for those aiming to complete a full marathon to get a sense of the distance.
This time, 22 people (including staff) participated, both men and women.

As with the previous event, samples of CIGARRO Sunscreen 30 were given out at reception.
After the briefing and warm-up on Gyoko-dori Promenade, CIGARRO staff offered products to those who wished to try them before the start.

Everyone ran steadily, taking breaks in Shinagawa and Ebisu in the morning.
At the rest stops, participants enjoyed popular sweets, and some also requested to reapply Sunscreen 30.
We received positive feedback such as, "Unlike regular UV cream, it spreads smoothly and feels comfortable, so I can reapply it like a massage!"

Lunchtime at Yoyogi was much anticipated. Participants refilled their energy with special sandwiches and fresh lemonade.
During the lunch break, even those who hadn't tried Sunscreen 30 at the starting point asked, "My neck has started to sting even in winter, so
could I try some?" That's right. In winter, skincare is important as a countermeasure against "sunlight + dryness."

The female participants commented, "When reapplying, this gentle scent is so soothing!"
For CIGARRO, whose policy is to enjoy self-care not only functionally but also through the five senses, this was truly wonderful feedback.

After lunch, participants continued to run towards the Marunouchi goal, with breaks in Ikebukuro and Nippori.
Many said, "This is my first time running 40km!" and they certainly looked tired at the finish line.

This time, CIGARRO for shower time!

Amidst this, we offered popular shower gels and shampoo & conditioner
mini bottles to those who wished, saying, "Please enjoy CIGARRO even during shower time!"
Everyone must have been exhausted, but they carefully selected their favorite fragrances before heading to the shower rooms.
As staff, we would have loved to hear their detailed impressions, but
it felt inappropriate to interview participants who had just completed 40km...
However, we are confident that their refreshed and invigorated smiles indicated their satisfaction.

CIGARRO's event collaboration series was a great success again this time, and we are planning to explore other sports and categories in the future.
